Re: end recurring appointment without losing exceptions

Max,

if there are exceptions - all of them are wanted. You don't need to ask.
Just don't touch the exceptions.

The past is the past and could not be changed......

Re: end recurring appointment without losing exceptions

Welcome on board. :?

With this bug I don't use EPIM for calendar anymore.
I think it is a basic feature to use calendar and recurring appointments.
For me the "new way" with EPIM-cloud.... It's not mine.

Re: end recurring appointment without losing exceptions

Hi Rick74, I use for calendar and contacts only Google and only sync these ones from Google to epim. I would loose too many "things" that are important for me. In the past I thought that I can't live without epim...now things changed. And so: Now I use epim only for notes. Contacts, calend...

Re: Google contact sync issue

I also had this problem: Solved by coreccting the contacts in Google with the webinterface. Then deleted all custom fields in epim. Now I only sync Google contacts to epim. Noting from epim to Google contacts. All works realy fine. I only edit my contacts with my smartphone - not in epim anymore. Fo...

Re: What would you like to see as next module?

I pick the tags and diary modules. As for the diary, emoticons would be really nice to fully express ourselves. So the diary with: - time/date stamps - more than one entry per day - emoticons - fields with extra infos, like mood (good for those with mood disorders per example, or just fun), weather...

Re: copy note without format -> bug?

Sorry, spoke too soon. Due to some technical constrains fix will not be available in the next minor version. Seems that this bug is NOT fixed in 5.53 and also not in 5.54 Can you please confirm when the bug will be fixed? Now there are 2 versions without a fix... Changelog only says: "Fixed: A...

Tag feature is now one of the high priority features for sure, but I will not promise anything yet.
I'm looking forward to this.
Me too.
Other pim have this feature.

Re: It is too slow to switch modules.

This couldn't be the problem: My hdds (USB and internal) don't never go to sleepmode.
If I work - they are also working. :-)

btw: I use an external usb-hdd (no flashdrive/stick/...). Other programs are fast from that drive (Firefox, mail client,...)

Re: It is too slow to switch modules.

Max, normally I use EPIM on USB-drive, but at home from local harddisk - and there it's also sometimes slow (switch from one to another section).
I can't reproduce this - so I haven't made a bug report.

Re: It is too slow to switch modules.

me too...
And it's "sometimes" really really slow if I switch from one section of EPIM to another one.
I can't say when it's fast and when it's slow :-(
