Hi,

sorry if this question seems a little lame, but I just downloaded the Pro Portable version (I have the paid version on my U3 drive) and am trying to get the software to show up in the U3 smart programs launch pad. Please could you tell me how I can do this?

Many thanks for your time and help, and Happy Thanks Giving to you all.

Hi!

epim portable 3.2 rc2

so far I have not tested much of it but::

Custom Colors Have finally appeared and function well in Notes!!
Also transparent color swatch works well now!!! -

Now bad things:

If you excuse me but How UGLY the new look of THE TABS is!!!!
Please change it back!!! (or make a setting to use old slyle tabs)
For my personal use - I won't switch to 3.2 unless tabs get a proper look.. (I can tell you they don't fit well at all in epim - and i am a graphic desiner by the way///)

By the way I am a graphic desiner too - and I think that the tabs are not bad. No need to change them :)

Hi,

you will need to install U3 version in order for it to appear in U3 menu. But currently there is no U3 version for this RC. WIll appear later.

to petrsimanek

Most likely you're not using win xp classic style - thats where the new tabs look explicitly out of place.

Oversaturated border color of the tabs is not consistent with the rest of the interface (toolbar borders etc) let alone the border has a gap ( is not connected with the frame it belongs too) which only add to the overly amateurish look.

plus I noticed other misfortunes with the new tabs.. like a gost borders, double borders and so on// look ugly indeed (pls do not get offended - just a few of constructive points)

so pls make our tabs look consistent or switch back old style tabs

thanks

bluedigit, what language is it - Chinese simplified ot traditional? Why garbage? What should be instead? Are you using your own language file or the one that currently comes with EPIM? Thanks.

It's interesting, it probably depends on the gradient fill of inactive tabs. But cannot confirm, on my Vista SP1 notebook the tabs are displayed OK.

bluedigit, its not a bug of this RC, all questions about lang-garbage you can post in relevant topic or topic and contact with translators of <Simplified Chinese> Language file.
its simple to check this bug - just remove garbage characters from lang file and restart epim. If garbage characters - still displaying on program window - its may be bug of RC, and if all Ok - see upper strings of my post and contact with translators.

this questions is bug , if language characters is english display ok,when in Simplified Chinese only "10452 10456 10469 10475 10476 "characters will display garbage characters, the Language file is ok.

bluedigit, thanks but couldn't reproduce the problem with garbage chars using the latest language file you posted in the forum. All's being shown correctly on our side.
