Hi,

this is maybe the largest Czech language file updated by Jiri Humplik & Petr Simanek, prepared for next release 5.02. Lot of strings were unified, improved or simplified, for Android application 1.3.4 too. I agreed with Peter that we can swap roles, so I took over main role and Peter help me very much with correction/translation. Good work!

P.S.: What about strings: 600, 850, 1024, 1442, 1736, 1950, 3144, 4100-3, 4106-7 which were removed from English language file in last release version? They are obsolete and not functional?

Thanks for the update! Yes, if strings are removed, consider them obsolete. This happens all the time as the program is evolving like a living organism, leaving behind what's not needed anymore

good news for czech and slovak users - now is available czech translate file (with some improvements) for current version EssentialPIM 5.03, I also took from OREL obsolete Slovak translation. In progress is czech web site too. Wish me luck!

I have just finished the updated Czech language file for 5.03 minor 5 (same improvements for 20 strings, add subject for email of translator in about window and list of changes). Now I´ll try to update and translate little by little very obsolete Slovak language file (from previous translator OROL). I believe that my translations will be Czech and Slovak users like it.

I have just finished the updated Czech language file for 5.5b1 - so far only for testing purposes. About 40 new strings were added, 15 strings changed (especially deactivation), fix subject for contact of translator, returned current english lang for Android (please, don´t use it yet). I also added information about opportunities to improve directly by users and opportunity to support me financially (as donation).

1) Can you please add to the English language file name of colors (from notes)?
2) What is the meaning of information window (string nr. 2616) for users?
3) Please fix string nr. 4367 in English language file (EssentialPIM).

1. That's the system dialog and unfortunately we cannot influence its translation
2. Happens when EPIM cannot backup the existing database file
3. Found the issue, vvorl pointed out there was double "e". WIll fix.

ad 1. It´s strange because all products from MS using translated czech help hints for colors
ad 2. OK, fixed.
ad 3. It was only little typing error
At this time I also improved the Czech translation of approx 18 strings for DropBox service, changed contact email and temporarily deactivate the link to my support website (still in testing mode).


However, I discovered a new problems during sorting new strings (from version 5.03 and 5.5b1), so I need your advices for better understand.
4. For v5.03 was added string Nr. 4222, right?

But in original string Nr. 4222 was contained a different meaning:

5. I didn´t understand the true meaning of strings Nr. 2413 and Nr. 4216, too.
For string Nr. 2413 - It would be appropriate to change the color of alert text to the red. Don´t produce the duplicate entries after deleting sync data?

I have translated it to the czech something like:
"Warning:|After clearing sync data is reset|synchronization."

For string Nr. 4216 - has the effect irreversible removal of older recording on the other side without the possibility to decide about skipping record in sync? It is the prevention of the re-creation of duplicate items?

6. Please correct name of czech translator in list of translators only to my name (with contact email epimcz@outlook.com), because
Petr Simanek ended cooperation on the translation from version 5.03. Btw. Slovak translation, taken from OROL, will be (maybe) continue after the completition of modifications for Czech translation. Free time is for me too few and without co-worker corrector, that's why my plans are delayed.

1. Maybe we're speaking about different dialog windows. Please post a screenshot of the one you're talking about
4. I compared mentioned strings in language files from 5.03 and 5.5 beta 1 and they seem to be identical
5. 2413 - yes, something like that. 4216 not quite right. It means EPIM will remove items that were deleted on one side from the opposite side. If you uncheck this checkbox, EPIM will never delete any items

ad 1. No, we are talking about the same dialog window (note: for EPIM I couldn´t create screenshot with help hint/name of color). It could be possible some way to open up for translation (for "Auto" color too)?

Hi Admin and Max,

I found during unification/edit strings problem with correct displaying special characters with accents help hint for ALL toolbars (Text + Attachments) in Notes, open message/appointment (but in language file are strings defined correctly!) This may cause display unsuitable words, eg. "Tučně" (Bold) as "Tun" (for Text toolbar), "Otevřít" (Open) as "Otevt" (for Attachments toolbar), and "Odpovědět" (Reply) as "Odpovdt" (for Mail toolbar)! How is it possible, I was shocked? Specifically, problems are with the strings/labels for ALL LANGUAGES, not only for czech.

Can you please confirm and try to fix this important issue ASAP?
