Problem with the Duplicate Remover

I found that by syncing my data base had been corrupted so I reconstituted it from back up copies, from a one way sync from Outlook etc and the groups started working again and I have a manageable number of contacts now.

The Duplicate remover worked (V5) worked wonders on the Calender and To Do modules. It seems to work find on contacts ... it goes through the whole procedure and tells me that I have deleted 40 contacts successfully but it does not remove them. They remain in the database. If I run the DR again, immediately or later they are still there, still found and still being removed, only not removed.

I remembered that there was something in a long ago post about contacts not been removed until the trash is emptied but that does not solve the problem.

Perhaps someone could look into that. I have the latest version of EssentialPIM Pro, and the current archive and DR remover.

If I manually delete a contact from the database, it deleted correctly and immediately. If I delete a contact from Outlook and then sync with EssentialPIM it is deleted and the number total is corrected to reflect the deletion.

Thanks .... it is wonderful to have something that syncs correctly to Outlook .... but I still want to get the duplicates out.
