Hi I am still on EssentialPIM Pro 5.82, just to clarify things upfront.

I am trying to set up sync via our owncloud server. I have filled in the details for my account but het an error reply:
"No user-principal"

Please let me know how to fix this.

Also: I can choose the modules to be synced. This looks promising.
Will I be able to setup full sync from Win 8.1 to Android via OwnCloud?

Hello,

EPIM 5.82 was released almost 1 year ago. Please update to latest 6.5.
Android EPIM can not sync to OwnCloud yet.

We are not finally decided whether we go for EssentiaPIM for our office.
We definitely want to sync via OwnCloud as all our data sits on our server and this system is running very well.

To be honest, I find it strange that sync via Owncloud does not work in 5.82. The sync menu offers me this choice.
Am I doing something wrong? MAybe you can check the above posted log.

When are you planning on implementing Android sync via OwnCloud?
I think we even paid for the app at one point - please correct me if I am wrong.
In any case: so far I don't see so much updating going on for Android ...

Only through Windows version of EPIM, so far, unfortunately.

So that renders Sync via Owncloud next to useless in a scenario with a mobile phone.

When are you planning on changing this?

There's plans, although cannot provide you with a specific date at the moment.
