OUTLOOK EMAIL DATABASE SYNC WITH EPIM PRO

Hi,
I wish to sync a Outlook 2010 email database ( all emails for the past 3 years ) with Epim Pro.
Can someone please tell me if it is possible and how it could be done.

Hello,

if your email is stored on mail server, we would suggest just to make an IMAP account in EPIM that will download the emails. EssentialPIM can not import emails directly from Outlook.

and if not? whats the solution to import an exported outlook pst file to epim pro?
I have 2pcs. first one older with outlook installed. New one with epim pro installed.
I would like to change the pst file from older to newer laptop and forget all about outlook.
I have exported the pst file to a pendrive.
What should I do to import this exported pst file to epim pro bought and installed in the new laptop?
I dont find to do to it.

Hello,

in Pro version, use File-> Import-> Outlook. But you need to have Outlook installed on this computer.

can I ask ..why is necesary to have outlook installed instead of only the pst fle exported from the own outlook in a pendrive?

It is a technical requirement, imposed by Microsoft.
