Android version

EssentialPIM is actually the best PIM ever. I removed lot of other tools (email clients, outliner and so on) moving all my infos to EPIM. But... I miss some features. One of these features is the possibility to run EPIM on my Android Device. I was using Evernote that works great on Android. I used it to record voice notes, to take photos and so on, and after the sync i had all those infos in my desktop and notebook. I would like ot do the same using EPIM.
Is it possible for you to create an android version of the EPIM?

Thank you.

Hi,
Android version will be a great thing. Now I have problems to look at/update my calendar, contacts, ... lets say "on the road" I want to use this asap.
Will it be available free for pro users?
Looking forward to this!

It sounds great - a lite version as Android application (calendar, tasks, contacts, notes), yes please.

Your ideas for the lite version (calendar, tasks, contacts, notes) would be my preference too! :D

People, have you been trying to search for EssentialPIM in Google Play Store lately? If not, I encourage you to do that :)

You will find an app that allows synchronization of Android Calendar and Contacts (built-in ones for the moment) along with To Dos and Passwords (our own creation) with EssentialPIM. To Dos and Passwords are two fully working modules that closely correlate with EssentialPIM’s philosophy and should be a joy to use for all EPIM’s users.

Later on we plan to add the Notes module (and synchronization with it) and after that Calendar and Contacts will follow. Stay tuned and please report your thoughts and suggestions about current version of the Android application.

Oh, and one more thing. EssentialPIM for Android will work with EssentialPIM 5.0 version only. You can download the first beta versions (prepare to find some very interesting features in the new version) from here:
Desktop: http://www.essentialpim.com/download/be ... MPro50.exe
Portable: http://www.essentialpim.com/download/be ... Port50.zip

Important! Please backup your current EPIM database file first (although, there’s an automatic backup but Beta is Beta, right) before opening it with the Beta version.

I am disappointed. :? What's so great about this version EPIM 5.0B1?
- unable to open database from version 4.5
- very unstable

Thank you I don ´t want this!

What does the error message say? And if you could copy your database from 4.54 into a new file, then open it with 4.54, delete all the sensitive data and then forward to us, we will then try to fix the issue you're having.

OK, I´m sending you right now backup of my database (without sensitive data) with error report to "errors".
