Necessary improvements
Hi,
in the past I picked up a few points that would be very necessary to implement in EPIM for android (actually Version 3.8Beta1):
Notes:
in the past I picked up a few points that would be very necessary to implement in EPIM for android (actually Version 3.8Beta1):
Notes:
- DONE-THANKS!! A link in a note should be klickable (and should open the browser) - "edit mode" would be a solution (see viewtopic.php?f=46&t=16421&p=71353#p71353)
- Sync: The view of categories of notes in the app (index cards in PC-version) ist not in the same order as synced with the desktop-version
- Sync: Tree should have the same sort-order as in the desktop-version of epim, it is only possible to define "sort by title" or "sort by last update", there should be an option for "sort as synced..." or "sort like in desktop-version". Actually when syncing back to desktop-version order in desktop-version is destroyed because of this behavior!
- Edit: Better formatting in notes (e.g. tables), see viewtopic.php?f=46&t=15731&p=71326#p71326
- DONE-THANKS!! Edit: In actually version of the app the menu-entry "Bäume verwalten" shows an empty list...
- On Android, "share with" should be provide, e.g. a link in browser should be shareable with facebook, google, onenote,... AND epim

Hello, is there a plan for implementing?
best regards

Re: Necessary improvements
Sure, especially for the rich text formatting in notes.

Re: Necessary improvements
They are in the works. Some of them will appear sooner, some later. Most of them will eventually be implemented.

Re: Necessary improvements
This is still in the plans. Although, there's a new manual sorting feature for notes.

Re: Necessary improvements
Yes, manual sorting feature is good, but after synchronizing (one-way from epim/windows to epim/android) the defined order is destroyed once again and differs to the order in epim/windows.admin wrote:Although, there's a new manual sorting feature for notes.
best regards.

Re: Necessary improvements
If you wish the defined order to stay, please use the 2-way sync option.

Re: Necessary improvements
I don't know - when order of notes in epim/windows and epim/android is the same and order in epim/windows changes - why should I use 2-way sync option instead of one-way from epim/windows to epim/android?

Re: Necessary improvements
1-one sync option means everything coming from the source will always have priority over the target.

Re: Necessary improvements
Yes - and so when syncing 1-way from epim/windows to epim/android the sort-order of epim/android correctly should be replaced by the order from epim/windows...
