Field Size in "Contacts"

I am using EssentialPIM Pro and was trying to enter a great deal (3 - 4 pages) of text into the Notes Section for a specific contact, and had some difficulty. I think I may have exceeded the "Contact" "Notes Section" field size. Is there a list of the default sizes and maximum sizes for the fields within "Contacts"?

Hello,

since you are using Pro, you can see the deafult size of the field and adjust it by using "Edit Field" button in "Contact Info" window. But, ironically, the only field which does not have adjustable length is Notes. So far you can't tyoe several pages into Notes, unfortunately.

Hi, Max, it's me again.
This topic is quite important for our company as we do need longer Notes - we need to use EPIM as kind of a simple CRM, mainly it is about keeping each client's history, comments in the Notes.
So the topic started in 2006, how is it now? Is there any limit of characters in the Contact>Notes? And how about the limit in just the Notes?
As you wrote above, there should be the place with editing the size of the field but now I have only Edit Field>here I can choose only the type of the string or the field, not the size.

As you can see, there were not many requests for this, so we worked on other features, which are being requested by more users.
In current version you can not insert several pages into Notes still. I will check with developers how difficult is that improve, but would not promise a quick implementation.

Yes, correct, the limitation is in Contacts => Notes, but not in Notes module.
