Android note truncated

Post by MGhell »

Hi,

I have a note with 2837 words on my desktop EPIM version. When synchronizing with my Android EPIM it gets truncated after 1269 words. I don't know if this matters, but there is also a small picture in the note (which is correctly imported when synchronizing).

I found a thread where you guys are saying that there is no limit. So, I'm wondering why it's cut off...

Please mention your Windows EPIM and Android EPIM version numbers. Also, mention your device make and model. Does that happen with a single note? If you create a copy of the note in Win EPIM and try to sync it with Android EPIM, will it work?

Hi,

my Windows EPIM version is 7.22, the Android version is 4.53(non-pro). The phone is a LG G4 running Android 6.0. I have 8 different notes and 7 sync perfectly, it's only the large one which gets truncated. I created a new "test" note with the content of my large note and that one also gets truncated when I sync it with my LG phone. I checked on google drive and the note is fully and correctly stored there.

PS: If I add some text on top of the note it gets synced but more text is cut off at the bottom

Please copy-paste the problematic note into a new Win EPIM database file and forward it to me via PM here in the forum.

Thank you! No luck reproducing the problem on our side, though. Could you please sync the test database file with your device and then forward me via PM the latest log file (please enable it first in Tools->Options->Synchronization)?

By the way, I have the following sync options enabled: 2-way, sync deletions, create calendars in Google for each category.

Does this matter?

No it doesn't as 2-way sync is the default option. But do you at the same time sync your notes with Google Drive?

I've split up the large note into 2 smaller ones...that´s ok for me
