BUG: creating/ saving a default Appoint. template in Calendar adds ONE DAY to duration

Epim biz, newest, 11.8.4
Win10 x64,

For a year??? I can't set a default template for an Appointment in Calendar, it always adds one full day to it:

And it happens in all three DBs I use with epim.

Steps:
double click on Calendar week view
opens empty appoint.
set length to 0:30 or whatever,
save it as a default template along with duration (or even without duration),
add,
add next one clicking in calendar anywhere:
it either has one day added to the previous duration set as default,
or simply keeps one hour all the time despite default duration set.

Years ago works fine.

We're unable to reproduce the issue. Please check if it works as expected on a new test database. In this case, we should determine if the issue is database-dependent. Thank you.

On clean, it keeps one hour as a default duration, no matter what time I set as default.
It doesn't add one day, but anyway, something's wrong with default templates, can't use them.
