EPIM Archiver - a New Freeware Application Released

We are proud to introduce a new freeware application for archiving items from EssentialPIM Pro and EssentialPIM Free database files. The application allows to set which modules to archive and what sort of conditions to take into consideration during the process. It is also possible to simply delete outdated data based on a set of specified criteria.

EssentialPIM Pro and EssentialPIM Free 3.22 Released

The new release of EssentialPIM is mostly a bugfix one. We strongly recommend all users to update to this latest version as it has all bugs and omissions fixed since the previous release. Couple of general improvements related to overall stability were also included in this release.

EssentialPIM Pro and EssentialPIM Free 3.21 Released

This is mostly a bugfix release. All errors found since last release were fixed. Most of them were related to the Free edition of EssentialPIM. We recommend all users to upgrade your current EssentialPIM version to this release.

EssentialPIM Pro and EssentialPIM Free 3.2 Released

We're proud to announce the immediate availability of EssentialPIM 3.2. Among the most important improvements are changes related to the Network edition that allow much more flexibility in database and user management. Absolutely new key features include envelope printing, ability to show To Dos in Schedule along with the regular appointments, spell checking option for Mail, Global folders for Mail and much, much more.

We would like to announce the availability of the new version of EssentialPIM. This release focuses on improving stability and performance with all known problems and omissions fixed since version 3.11. Most of the changes made are Mail module related.

EssentialPIM Pro and EssentialPIM Free 3.11 Released

A new version of EssentialPIM Pro and EssentialPIM Free is available. This is mostly a bugfix release with some improvements including display of start/due dates for To Dos in EPIM Today, correct spell checking for words with special character symbols in Notes and updated default print views for Contacts.

EssentialPIM Pro and EssentialPIM Free 3.1 Released

The new version of EssentialPIM is ready! It introduces a spell checker for the Notes module (will be extending it to all other modules in the very nearest future), label printing for Contacts, long Ц awaited feature to customize icons in the Notes module, much faster and improved EPIM Today and many other new features across the program. Many improvements and fixes were specifically made for the Mail module, as well.

EssentialPIM Pro and EssentialPIM Free 3.04 Released

This is a fix release that mainly addresses bugs found in the Mail module. Couple of non-mail related omissions were fixed, as well. We also added requested ability to search for Assignees in the To Do module.

Astonsoft Ltd., has released EssentialPIM v.3.0, a Windows Personal Information Manager (PIM) that makes it easy to control your appointments, tasks, to-do lists, notes, and contacts. With built-in email support, EssentialPIM is an affordable replacement for Outlook. The interface can be set to more than 30 languages including English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese.
Synchronization modules, which are usually offered as add-ons with other high-end PIMs, are included with EssentialPIM. You can sync your EssentialPIM data with your Smartphone, PocketPC, iPOD, or Palm OS device. Ensure that your Google Calendar account is always in sync with EssentialPIM's calendar. You can even synchronize all of your EssentialPIM data with all versions of Microsoft Outlook.
The Network Edition supports multi-user access to EssentialPIM's database, allowing you to share data with everybody in the office or family. The Portable Edition lets you use EssentialPIM on any Windows PC. It is fully U3-compliant and works with a USB flash drive or compact flash card.

EssentialPIM Free and EssentialPIM Pro 3.0 RC 3 (Beta) Released

This is the first public appearance for absolutely new EssentialPIM 3.0. This is not a final release, yet. Therefore, please make sure to backup your existing database first, prior opening it with this new version.
The new major features of EPIM 3.0 include:
- Mail module
- Mass Mail is now renamed to "Newsletter" and works with built in mailer
- Tabs in To Do module
- New Print reports for paper organizers- for Classic and A5 sizes- for most printouts
- To Do now color-codes tasks according to selected category
- You can "switch off"/hide modules
- Time selection component in Schedule and To Do
- New columns in To Do and Schedule table views: "Created", "Completed"
- Search bar in Schedule (all views)
- Search bar in all modules improved

Note 1!: EssentialPIM 3.0 RC 3 is compatible with databases created with EPIM 2.x. However, as the database format has been changed for EPIM 3.0, you will not be able to open EPIM 3.0 RC 3 databases with EPIM 2.x versions.
Note2!: We consider EssentialPIM 3.0 ReleaseCandidate 3 as a Beta version, which means it is most likely less stable than the latest release of the 2.81 series.
Note3!: This version will install itself into a different folder (by default) in order not to interfere with the latest stable version of EssentialPIM you might have installed on your computer.
