I'm sorry I was not clear, apparently. The notes disappeared from my laptop, not my Android. But when I synced the two in hopes the phone app would restore the notes to the laptop, that did not happen.

My notes all disappeared after doing the latest update to 6.57 Pro. The tree is still there, but there are no notes!

OK, I was able to update the version by going to Get EPIM, and the sync connection starts now. But the bar only gets half-way through Appointments when it stops and times out. I've left it sitting there for 15 minutes and it does not go farther to completion.

Yes, I have Android 3.8. However, I have Windows EPIM version 6.52 -- see my other nearby post about being unable to update it.

6.52 update wll not complete

After the 6.52 update downloads, it will not install because it says EPIM is already open (which it is of course), but it will not close without aborting the whole update procedure without completing.
