Re: "EPIM Today" layout - short days?

Good question, Ekalb. Probably because above Max said, "Most likely some of your Windows settings have some fonts increased.". I was just pointing out that I had another program that took external fonts without any problems. My Firefox setting is Times Roman @ 12 which seems to cope with m...

Re: "EPIM Today" layout - short days?

Thanks, Max. I need the Navigation pane to see the calendar ;-) I'll just endure 'squashed' days when I need to.

Re: "EPIM Today" layout - short days?

Thanks, Max, for your comments. I'm using the latest Firefox browser and don't have font size problems anywhere else. The screenshot appears small because it is less than half the screen width. This is because at times I need to see another program as well as details of EPIM. Can you suggest what Wi...

I accept that the length of the text can influence the width. But when I narrow the day name column the date overrides the end of the day name and it looks terrible.

"EPIM Today" layout - short days?

The EPIM Today layout lists the days in full: e.g. Wednesday. If the customary abbreviations were used (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun) then the viewing window could be narrower without 'scrunching up' the days. Comments, please?

Is this version in effect a beta for testing?
I'm using EssentialPIM 7.24. When I click on Help>Check for updates I get the message 'There are no updates available'.

Re: Task: repeat every X [weeks] v. regenerate tasks X weeks after completion

"Regenerate" (B) inserts a delay ... after task is complete. While (A) ... regenerates the task as soon as original task is completed. Sorry Max, but I'm rather struggling to distinguish between 'after task is complete' and 'as soon as the original task is completed'. If the task is set t...

Task: repeat every X [weeks] v. regenerate tasks X weeks after completion

I wish a task to be repeated every 2 weeks on the same day of the week. What is the differnce when setting the task between: Task: (A) repeat every 2 weeks and (B) regenerate tasks 2 weeks after completion? Are they alternative ways of achieiving the same objective? Or is (B) only triggered when you...

Re: v.7.24 EPIM Today gone: forced to use Week Ageda

I guess that for this question there will be no differences between portable or desktop version. I use the portable version and still have the EPIM Today, so it is not a upgrade problem. You write that you do not see EPIM Today under tools -> options as a "line" EPIM Today. How does your ...

v.7.24 EPIM Today gone: forced to use Week Ageda

Since upgrading to v.7.24 my opening view EPIM Today has disappeared. Now having to use Week Agenda view + Tasks (with double lines in narrow view as already reported). The Help file tells me, "You can configure EPIM Today settings under Tools -> Options -> EPIM Today". But there is no lon...

v.7.2 Contacts - Notes Field

In v.6.58 there was a 'button' that would insert a current date/time line: very helpful. Is there one in v.7.2 ?
If there is I can't see it.
