I try to connect to server and a window opens when I connect to network with "network" and everything else grayed out
I opened all ports for TCP and UDP for "fbserver.exe"
My machine will be the server and local for me
I have successfull LAN connections with the other machine in the house
Any tips?

Re: POLL: e-mail improvement suggestions
1) Support for Local Folders, so I can store emails on my local hard drive without leaving them on the server.
2) Thunderbird has an elegant way to combine certain folders like Sent, Inbox, Trash, Spam, etc. when dealing with multiple accounts, it would be helpful if EPIM did this.

Re: promoting notes
I don't think it works for Leaves. You can drag notes to the horizontal line, but a dragging a leaf just shows the circle:

In your graphic, there is nowhere for the leaf to go. You must drag it ABOVE Note B and release it
If you just want to rearrainge leaves, make sure ...

Re: promoting notes
Thanks Rick, but when I get the horizontal line (quite difficult) the icon changes from a document to a circle with a slash saying not permitted and dropping at this point has no effect.
The second you see the horizontal line ... let go of the mouse. Yes it can be difficult but with a bit of ...

Re: promoting notes
You may have to drag the sub note "B" ABOVE note "A" until you see a horizontal line then let go of the mouse button

Re: Cannot change text color from tool bar
I just checked again and it is working. I have no idea of why it was not before (and I checked it in several places)
Sorry to bother with this

Re: Why you DON'T like EPIM?
Admin, despite I don't use email here, but yes, there is such an add-on in Thunderbird and probably other clients, Send Later.
You can set many detailed stuff, like default day and hour, say, Monday 9 am, so you can write emails on Saturday, and set them to be sent on Monday at a given time.
I ...

Re: Why you DON'T like EPIM?
By local folders you mean a feature that would allow you to move/copy emails into a local folder not synchronizable wit the mail server?
And a message scheduler should allow you to choose when to send the message?
Yes. I get a lot of email and have a ton of filters to move it into local folders ...

Re: Why you DON'T like EPIM?
I can't think of much I "don't like" about EPIM. The mail feature needs local folders before I could consider leaving Thunderbird (and a message scheduler) but I am not crying about that as the bloat might not be worth it. That is just an aside comment. Anything else to be said would be tweaks

Re: Pasting tasks betweem lists make it a child
Thanks @Keldi. There is enough here so I can do what I need. I was just looking for an easy way to do something. I have also got some ideas for handling an unrelated issue that I was over thinking
Thanks to all!

Re: Pasting tasks betweem lists make it a child
Thanks that works ... but it makes a copy . I usually cut and paste.
This is not a big deal. I was just asking if there was a better way than what I was doing
Thanks again for the fast reply

Re: Pasting tasks betweem lists make it a child
Is there any quick way to bypass that behaviorother than opening the task and changing the parent to 'none"?
Thanks
