ics export issues (links, quotation marks, alert datetime)

I created a new EPIM database with the event below:
epim-screenshot.png

Quotation marks
When I export the calendar as ics then the quotation mark is exported \". According to the https://icalendar.org/validator.html validator this is not necessary. \" is imported like it is in Thunderbird for ...

Re: Access violation error when dragging event with link

There is still an error when dragging, but I don't know if it is related.
I dragged an event to another day. The then occurred when I switched back to the original day. I didn't start dragging when the mouse pointer was over a link, just empty space in the event.
There was also another error ...

Re: Access violation error when dragging event with link

The error doesn't occur anymore with the current version, but I think it would be better to not open the link target with a drag operation is started. The link should only be opened if the mouse cursor is not moved away from the link once the mouse button is released (mouse up event). Currently you ...

Access violation error when dragging event with link

Steps to reproduce the error:
- Create new event in the calender that has a link to a website.
- Drag the event by starting to drag while the mouse pointer is over the link (there is no error when dragging from any where else in the event)

This also happens with the current version (11.1)
I tried ...

Re: Calender: Keep Position after Drag&Drop of appointment

I mean the daily view in the calendar. Just make sure there are scrollbars (you may have to make the window smaller if you have a large screen that can display all 24 hours) and scroll down so you see an appointment for example at 8 PM. Then drag the appointment to another day on the month overview ...

Calender: Keep Position after Drag&Drop of appointment

Currently the calendar jumps to 00:00 after dragging an appointment to another day. I have to scroll down again for every appointment I want to move. It would be helpful if EssentialPIM would remember the position (time), like it is also the case when clicking the calendar to switch to another day.

Appointments monthly/weekly for a certain range per year

Currently it's possible for weekly repeating appointments to set the day (for example monday and tuesday).
I would like to set repeating appointments each year for example from April to September that repeat every month or every x weeks. It could for example also be from October to March of the ...

Re: Importing Tasks with Tags/Category/Hierarchy

The attached ics has calendar entries, not tasks. The issues occur only with tasks.

Re: Unexpected category on task after deleting category

I created a pdf with screenshots and description of each step. For this test I created a new database (EssentialPIM 7.53 Pro on Windows 8.1 x64 German).

Note: When I deleted the category the task was closed. The deletion was done using the edit -> categories main menu entry.

Steps to reproduce ...

Re: Importing Tasks with Tags/Category/Hierarchy

I also created a new database and did the same steps (new task with cat. - export - import), but it isn't working. I also used the installed version 7.53 pro (Windows 8.1 x64 German) instead of using the portable version - same problem.

I installed the previous version (7.52) and there the ...

Unexpected category on task after deleting category

I created a new category and then created a task with that custom category assigned. Then (after closing the task) I deleted the category. I expected that the task would have no category anymore, but it had one. It was the one before the deleted category in the categories list (maybe just a ...

Re: Importing Tasks with Tags/Category/Hierarchy

I can reproduce it also by just using the export / import mechanism of EssentialPIM.

I created a task and exported it from EssentialPIM

Importing Tasks with Tags/Category/Hierarchy

I'm trying to import tasks from a custom task application which exports as ics-file.
Is it possible to export/import Tags in EssentialPIM?

When I add a Tag to a EssentialPIM Task it is not included when exporting as ics.
The Categories are exported but not imported.
Task-Hierarchies also aren't ...

Re: EssentialPIM 7.0 Release Candidate 2 is here!

in v6.x I used a custom default template for new appointments. With v7 RC2 the template that I chose as default is selected for new appointments, but the values are not applied (reminder for example stays on the default value "none" or whatever it is called in the english version).
When I select the ...
