Can't sync iPhone with Windows 10 either. I have referred to the worthless checklist. Still doesn't work. So far, this is a LOT of money for nothing.

Actually, I run a Windows virtual machine in Parallels.

I hope to also use EPIM in Linux, using WINE. More about that when I get it working.

Are there plans to make the ToDos with a collapsible tree like the Notes? I would like to group the dependencies of each of my tasks, and then check them off as each "Sub-ToDo" is completed.

Adding checkboxes to Note items would accomplish the same thing for me, and would be an alternative.
