Safest way to sync two PCs and one Android phone

Hi all, a desktop PC "D", notebook PC "N" and an Android mobile "A" shall be synced. Is there any difference (safety, capabilities) in the synchronization methods Windows <-> Android vs. Windows <-> Windows? Are there any pitfalls or limitations when synchronizing "through" the Android device? Can I...

Re: Task invisible after completion is undone

I found there is another precondition ("View By due date") to reproduce this error, therefore I make a new step-by-step description. BTW: I didn't think it's so much work to demonstrate the problem. 1. Settings: a) Do not clear completed tasks automatically b) Hide completed tasks c) View -> Check "...

Re: Too easy to check a task as completed

The problem is that you might not even notice when you tap the "completed" checkbox by accident. The consequences of "forgetting" a task can be severe! I'm not setting up tasks like "watch this movie some day" or "buy salad" but important business tasks. So even if it might seem annoying to double c...

Re: Task invisible after completion is undone

yes, the task re-appered after changing the view, e.g. switching between lists or even close and re-open the task view.

BTW: It happens only if "display completed" (in German; Erledigte anzeigen" is off. If display completed is on, the task re-appears immediately.

Task invisible after completion is undone

Hi,

if I tap the "complete" checkbox by and then "undo" to revert the action, the task oes not re-appear, IOW is not visible immediately.

Too easy to check a task as completed

Hi,

in my opinion, it's too easy to make a task "completed" by accident since it is a single tap action, and it is easily overlooked.

A confirmation would be useful to avoid accidental "completion" of tasks.

Re: .epim file on network share

As I wrote, I did "mount" it as a folder using the "net use" command, and I provided the path with the drive letter to EssentialPIM (not the UNC path). Nevertheless it didn't work. But the link you provided showed the alternative to use "subst" instead of "net use", and that worked - thanks! BTW: It...

.epim file on network share

Hi, how can I access a database file on a network share? I don't want to access it concurrently (I'm the only user) but the data shall reside on a NAS. Max wrote 2018 in https://www.essentialpim.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=91055#p91055 non-network EPIM version can access only local *.epim files. In ca...
