Re: EssentialPIM 11.0 Release Candidate
No problem, we were able to reproduce the bug on our side. So expect a fix in the next update.
As for the lines - is Tasks the only module which you think lacks them?
great!
the task module and its derivatives in modules (sidebar, minisidebar today) is the most critical for me, but I think it ...

Re: EssentialPIM 11.0 Release Candidate
Still unable to reproduce, although will see what can be done here.
About hierarchical lines - this is by design.
strange. I will try to run epim in a virtual machine and try to reproduce the bug. If everything works, I'll reinstall windows.
it's very sad that you made such a design decision ...

Re: EssentialPIM 11.0 Release Candidate
just noticed a change in how trees are displayed in modules
in the notes module settings there is an item about returning everything as it was (https://i.imgur.com/ZyBIWW5.png).
Why not in other modules? Am I missing something?

Re: EssentialPIM 11.0 Release Candidate
It should be refreshing automatically even being in the background. Is it just the current time line, which is not updated for you or there's something else?
I can't really verify if events are being updated because I need to focus the window to change them.
But I think yes, current time line ...

Re: EssentialPIM 11.0 Release Candidate
ЛеонидЛогинов, got it, thanks for the explanation. Will do that.
Wonderful! it's nice to see how you improve your product!
One more suggestion, can you please make the screen of the calendar module refresh at least once every 5 minutes if the module is opened and is in unfocused epim window?
I ...

Re: EssentialPIM 11.0 Release Candidate
I see now, thanks very much! Will improve this.
BTW that's not 5 seconds but rather 5 minutes :)
Maybe sync timeout is 5 minutes, but when I open 'add new ical' dialog and type its url and switch to other field, epim checks if url returns ics and THERE timeout is only 5 sec.
So to add a new ...

Re: EssentialPIM 11.0 Release Candidate
ЛеонидЛогинов , please describe in more details and with a list of steps how to reproduce the problem with iCal sync.
I expect that ical synced calendars appear in their own isolated calendar or at least an ability to choose where they will go to..
And please consider increasing timeout in the ...

Re: EssentialPIM 11.0 Release Candidate
ЛеонидЛогинов , it works as expected on our side. If possible, please make a short video demonstrating how the caldav sync works on yours. As for the tasks - you'd like them to be divided into accounts, as well? Regarding the strange logic - I think you're the only one who utilizes that scenario ...

Re: EssentialPIM 11.0 Release Candidate
External calendars added via ical sync not shown in the multi-calendar list. It would be better if I could turn on/off the display of external calendars in the same way as local ones. Tasks should be switchable there too.
And please slightly increase the timeout in the window for adding a new ical ...

Re: EssentialPIM 10.0 Release Candidate 2
It seems like some changes were made in attempt to fix a minor bug I described in https://www.essentialpim.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36509.
Leaf (Notes) editor now works fine, but for the other text editors like event description etc issue still relevant.
I don't know what you did to the note ...

WinEPIM already works fine under wine with some walkarounds.
Devs time is no longer needed since at least some walkaround for this issue is found.
I've filled a report for other wine users, it should appear here (https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=5312) when reviewed.

Why has the function "show this task in the calendar" disappeared?

Re: EssentialPIM 10.0 RC1: text editing is now even more broken (impossible to edit text, wine)
I have not tried proton for software, since it seems to be not supported at all on the Mac because of their proprietary graphical api.
It looks like most of the proton improvements go straight to the wine project.
I compared the wine logs of v7.13 and v7.2 and found out that v7.2 too often ...

Re: EssentialPIM 10.0 RC1: text editing is now even more broken (impossible to edit text, wine)
That's cool. I understand that it's harder to debug in such conditions.
But in RC1 you somehow made the bug even worse. Now it's almost impossible to edit text. Please try to do something, I'm begging you.
At least please look into your VCS history for something that could cause this awful effect ...
