Danish translation (3.74)
Here's a translation into Danish updated to version 3.7 RC2 (July 29th 2010)
Most of the interface has been re-translated, the concept of translating "task" with "aftale" and "to do" with "opgave" has been maintained from the previous release.

Re: Incomplete language files: Spanish, Chinese trad, Danish, etc
I am already working on an update on the Danish language file for 3.01. Should be ready in a couple of weeks if time will allow it.
EDIT: I meant to say... "couple of days"
EDIT: But yet, it took a bit longer. I have submitted a translation for 3.02 here

Re: EssentialPIM 3.0 Public Release Candidate 3
Yes, I am a member of the Beta team. My problem, however, was not not backing up the database - it was accidently deleting the release of the software I was using before (3.0 Beta 2) without having a backup (usually keep a backup of both the software and the database). I'd file a bug, but not sure ...

Re: EssentialPIM 3.0 Public Release Candidate 3
It is seriously annoying that you do not name the downloadable files to reflect the current version. I erroneously overwrote my old portable folder because there was no way of telling the difference between the new and old one (I just unzip and go about my business) - this would not be so much of an ...

Re: FastStone Image Viewer
By the way FastStone Capture is an excellent screen capture program that will capture long pages in one go by auto-scrolling as it captures. It's not freeware now though I believe there is an early freeware version still out there somewhere.

Reported to work with CrossOver
Another user reported getting the portable version to run under linux using CrossOver Office - and it has also turned out to work for me (EssentialPIM Pro Portable 2.2 / Gutsy Gibbons). So this is probably worth looking into.

Confirmed
I am happy to report that I can confirm this. Installed a trial version of CrossOver 6.2.0 on Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbons and ran EssentialPIM Pro 2.2 from my data partition. And it works flawlessly. No problems with opening attached documents from notes (don't know about linked documents, though, but that ...
