Re: "run program" with parameters
You may not be seeing the forest for the trees. When you give users freedom, amazing things can happen. Please reconsider, especially since implementation seems very (relatively) easy. Maybe take a poll?

"run program" with parameters
Hello. Any chance the "run program" feature of reminders could be enhanced to allow the use of parameters? Currently, if parameters are used, the reminder silently fails (does nothing). I can see lots of potential uses: C:\MyPerlScripts\SendEmail.pl "to:max@essentialpim.com" &quo...

Google Calendar Sync Not Working Properly
I am VERY disappointed in EPIM's lack of proper support for Google Calendar Sync - it's shameful really since it's an advertised feature that seems to work poorly at best. That said, let's begin with just one simple example where syncing fails. Create a repeating event on Google (via Web), then sync...

licensing of add-ons
Hi.
Can someone please explain how add-on licensing works?
In particular, if I buy the add-ons today, then in 2 years upgrade to EPIM v4 (or whatever), must I buy the add-ons again? In other words, when does their use "expire"?
Thanks!

Thanks. Mass-mail is a really cool, advanced, and useful feature. I tested it with Thunderbird and it seems to work great! I should have been more clear in my initial post. I want to be able to select several contacts and then send a single email addressed to all of them using my default email appli...

That's great news! The release I have which shows no CPU utilization is v1.5 Pro (downloaded 2005-07-06). Since the issue on my machine is more pronounced, I will probably revert to v1.5  until a fix. Is there any way to track its progress? I know at one time you were using Mantis, but it appea...

I must respectfully disagree with your statement that 1-2% is justified. I have 12 processes running in my system tray, and EPIM is the only one using any notable amount of CPU. Additionally, there are 40+ other background processes running and none of them show CPU usage. Can you imagine how crippl...

I created a new database, closed EPIM, reopened EPIM (using new database) and the cpu utilization pattern was identical, i.e. spiking every 10 seconds to about 10%. Prior to this upgrade I was running EPIM v1.5 and saw no spiking. Just to convince myself again, I installed v1.5 on another machine an...
