Well, then making other controls (not only printing) work properly with multiple selections (in my opinion) should become the first priority as it relates to basic database operations and printing might be the last in this list by logic.

I would highly support this as its quite rudimentary not to have a configurable toolbar nowdays (ecpecially if EPIM competes with outlook - which already offers dinamic toolbars - which i don't vote for - a simple customisable one would perfectly do)

If I want to move out two adjacent notes in a tree and select them both and click move out - only one steps out

you have just highlited another deficiency. By default there must be no such situation when a user is unable to predict outcome.

In my option there is a clear need in a stop in the context menu handler which checks if selection is multiple and gray out irrelevant commands thus protecting users ...

Hi epim team!

When i select multiple notes and click on the "modify" - (all my notes stay selected) and choose to change an icon (for example) - only one note changes an icon.. whereas a user expects that all those selected notes get their icons reassigned.

I must admit it is database specific

in my database everything that has 5 steps down into hierarchy generate an error

in an new database everything must be some 30 steps deep to provoke a mistake

pls see a new database attached with self explanatory notes how to copy and paste

it is absolutely the same problem

it doesn't matter whether you copy or cut

the problem is that you cant paste notes if their count exceeds some number (you need to check it for yourself)

3.12 could paste any number of notes from node to node - 3.21 only some ~ 10

try to paste 30 for example ...

I should also add that not only selection that doesn't persist but the tree state as well

if i expand a tree and then switch to another tab and than back - the tree node which was previously expanded is closed.

I guess it relates to the same problem of not remembering the tree state between tabs ...

it's just that I've made substantial changes in the converted database so reverting to backup doesn't make sense to me now
