I will try what you suggest as it seems it will be useful for other reasons too, like if I change my mind about sending a mail I can cancel it rather than sending it immediately.

I reinstalled the update and after that synchronization worked fine
So no problem now....

Waited for an hour but .... nothing.
Worked fine before
(Free version..sync set up for both ways)

The date for each Calendar cell is in the Top-Right corner in Desktop version (Windows 8.1) and Lower-Right corner in Android version. This is confusing, and annoying.
