I downloaded and installed the pre-release version. It synced without errors, although it duplicated everything on the phone. I purged the phone data and synced again and it now seems fine. Well done.

I have had this problem before, but it was resolved. When I search for a word in a note, often the word isn't found even though it is definitely there. Actually, I have checked further and searching at a top level never finds anything in a child note, despite "Include child notes" being checked. This is the case with multiple notes. Also, if I do a search from the parent note for a term in a child note and it says not found, a subsequent ...

I have done that. Now the search in the first video does work. But the second one where the search term exists in a child note now fails saying the search item was not found.

Copied the note to a new database file, search is now working.
