This morning with 12.1.4 I kept getting - Not Responding - when EPIM was opened and the Loading Popup Box for Accounts showed -- No Internet -- then it appeared to try to keep loading. Internet Surfing was Normal......

Feb 3 morning... occurred via 1st Open of EPIM App - Update Available Clk'd --- AND via Help - Check for Updates.

I randomly do a DB Mgt/Optimize and with today's Clk on Optimize a popup stated my DB needed a Consistency Check and it would make a Backup File for it . The DB size reduced from 36 to 25 MB and the Repair File shows with other Backups.
The Log doesn't appear to show a Reason for Needing a Repair ...

The Task Calendar Column showed List 1 ... and General is the Only other choice. TODAY's Task is in GENERAL ...by itself.
When I make a New Task in Plain it goes to General & IS the ONLY Task there.
IF I make a New Task in Consolidated, it shows ...

I use & understand about 5% of EPIM, but -- in MAIL module I Use the Rt Column TASKS Calendar -- & lucked into Viewing a New Task that would Not show by going to the 3 dots under the Search icon & just below most Dangerous "Tiny X" in all of Computer-land ... to SEE the TASK by changing FROM PLAIN ...

EDIT 11/20/24: Realized I hadn't seen a popup at Opening for awhile and tried Manual Help / Chk for Updates.
It's NOW working again correctly for some Unknown reason.
A random problem with Paint.net resulted in a suggestion to Disable Unchecky App (I uninstalled it) and THAT could be the reason ...

The Update to 12.1 netted Help / Manual Chk for Updates - There are no updates available Vs Popup prior. Only 3 openings so far but No Popup yet. Presume 12.1 IS the SOLUTION.

Disable ESET ... didn't work as ESET Sppt implied .... without Full Un-Install.

Sppt emailed KBs for Detection Exclusion and FW Rules.
I Detection Excluded the Entire Program File(x86) Folder = Popup still.
I made a FW Rule for -- EssentialPIM.exe - Allow Both ways and - ANY - for Local and Remote Hosts & Ports = Popups Still.

Sppt suggested UNINSTALL .... to PROVE if ESET ...

Support Tkt opened today at ESET to chk IF their FW is connected to this issue.

Will go to Mbam after ESET answers.....
