Re: Sync Problems: Calendar and Contacts
They are ALL erased; both on the Android and also with EPIM on my laptop. On my laptop I can open up a backup copy of course. This is getting old.

Re: Sync Problems: Calendar and Contacts
Yes, I am. Today (the 11th) I did four sync's. In 3 of them it deletes calendar events on both the PC & the Android. The fourth time it appears to have worked but I have no categories on the android. I went through all of your suggestions and still the same results.

Re: Sync Problems: Calendar and Contacts
Follow up to your suggestions. I made your suggested changes but the calendar events still disappear from the Android and open desktop calendar file as well (I make several backups on the pc (your program) so that is fine. By the way, the contact information does not seem to be affected, it is only ...

Re: Sync Problems: Calendar and Contacts
I am using the Pro version with my Motorola Android Bionic. As you may know, this week Verizon updated the Android system from version 2.3.4 to 4.0.4. Your program is now very unstable. It deletes all of the calendar events on the phone and usually on the desktop program. If it does not delete the e...

Re: Wifi sync'ing
Today is the 25th. There was an update on Monday of this week (23rd) for "essentialpim" on the android (release version 1.3.6) and with it I decided to try a direct sync (after shutting of the google sync on the phone). I did, and the calendar events have remained and not gone away on the ...

Re: Wifi sync'ing
To answer your question, if I add an event on my android and save it, immediately all of the events, I repeat, all of the events are erased, eradicated, vanish. When I used your android to pc sync, using my home network, I stopped all of the sync's on my phone (except for gmail, which I only use whe...

Re: Wifi sync'ing
Your suggestions are sound. However, I called Verizon and confirmed that I could uncheck the google sync between my android and google, so I did this. I have tried your "direct" sync between the android and your desktop software, and have used various settings. I have opened the android ca...

Re: Wifi sync'ing
I like your desktop software, but your wireless sync system has a lot of holes in it. I have given up using it and gone back to a 1-way sync through google to the phone for two reasons: I can sync wherever I have a wireless connection, and the calendar data on the phone remains. I have sent 3 suppor...

Wifi sync'ing
When I am at home, I can sync between my laptop and android. But I cannot anywhere else. I can an error message that my firewall connection (on my laptop) prevents syncing. I have gone in to the control panel and opened the firewall and changed it to "off" and the error message remains. Al...

Re: Calender sync with Android
I was wrong. The time displayed on the laptop in the "task bar" was correct. But I finally opened the control panel and the date/time area and discovered it was set to the USA eastern time zone. I changed it to my local time (USA pacific). I then did a 1-way sync and it is now correct. I i...

Re: Calender sync with Android
Ever since I updated to version 5, the calendar events on my Motorola Bionic (v.2.3.4) show all dates 3 hours earlier than it should. The times on my laptop are correct, and the clock on my laptop matches the clock/time on my phone. It does not matter whether I do a wifi between android and laptop o...
