Amen. I'd go even further and say: In an app which deals with VERY private information (such as addresses, phone numbers, calendar entries) no code which connects to any analytics service should be present, even not via opt-in. Alas, lt looks as if the developers don't want to improve anything here....

Ja, WinMerge nehme ich auch gerne in solchen Fällen. Wer sowieso Notepad++ benutzt, kann auch das dortige Compare-Plugin nehmen, das funktioniert auch ganz gut. Mit dem "Co-Translator" meinte ich nur, dass diese Zeile die einzige meiner Änderungen war, die in der angehängten Datei enthalte...

As I see, most (if not all) of my corrections are not included into this file, although my pseudonym is mentioned as a co-translator. Is there a reason for this or did go anything wrong here?

Hi there, as promised in https://www.essentialpim.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=118856#p118856 (although later than promised), here is my improved version of the German language file. Feel free to compare it with the current version, modify it, further correct it, enhance it... license for my part is CC...

Please give me some more days to use EPIM with my modified language file - I'm pretty sure I'll find a few more strings to improve during my work. I'll attach my file here, so some other native German speakers can pick it up and improve it further.

Finally I found this thread again. I partly reworked the German language file (based on the v9.9 version), corrected many typos and grammatical errors ("Sie" vs. "sie", superfluous spaces, ...) and occasionally found some better wording. There is still a lot to do though and I wo...

Hm... it's just the "Today" view in the rightmost column which shows this inconsistency. If you create (or edit) a task or appointment, the behaviour is exactly the way you just rejected! Anyway, I suggested an alternative above: A small dot in the centre of the whitespace. See this mockup...

Any progress on this? The current behaviour with the non-indented text if no priority is set is at least inconsistent (see the screenshots above) and IMHO really ugly!

the issue mentioned in the original posting seems to be fixed with v9.9. However, the second issue (see the video by @Keldi) is still present in the current version.

This is really strange as I have this effect on three devices (Android 5.1/8.1/9.0). So it could be related to some personal settings I changed on all of them, although no system or app setting (beside the one which allows this explicitly) should affect whether EPIM for Android contacts remote serve...
