Here is the error message:
"Error: Access violation at address 014183CA in module 'EssentialPIM.exe'. Read of address 00000008".
Here is the screenshot:

Re: Category colours not correct when synced from Windows to Android
Here's the fixed version: www.essentialpim.com/download/temp/EssentialPIMProPort.zip. Please download and unpack it into a folder with EPIM installed. Note, this is Beta of the upcoming EPIM 8.5 version, so backup your database just in case. Let us know if the issue is gone now. Thanks! Thanks. I'l...

Re: Category colours not correct when synced from Windows to Android
Can someone tell me they are able to reproduce this issue?
It is such an easy one to reproduce, it pains me that we're still going on about whether this issue exists or not.

Re: Category colours not correct when synced from Windows to Android
and there's no categories other than the default ones. Hard to believe, as I just re-downloaded my own attachment, and look at the categories shown: categories.png Now those are definitely not the default categories, are they? Therefore we had to create our own events and our own additional categor...

Re: Category colours not correct when synced from Windows to Android
This is how it looks like on our side. I don't see any inconsistencies. I can tell you right now you didn't use my database, as my category colours are different. Vacation = Orange Finance = Red In fact, ALL of the categories are NOT the colours I set them up to be in my database. Did you even use ...

Re: Category colours not correct when synced from Windows to Android
Thanks but how do we reproduce the problem using the database file attached? What would be the steps? You're kidding me, right? I've shown two sets of screenshots showing EPIM appointments in Windows that are not always showing the correct colours in Android after syncing. The issue is that categor...

Why is an empty database file size so large?
I am attaching a file (Empty.epim) which is basically an empty EPIM database file: Empty.epim My question is, why is an empty file almost 2.5MB in size? I know this file was created a VERY long time ago on a much older version of EssentialPIM, however, I have cleaned ALL the information out of the d...

Now you too can reproduce the bug and FINALLY get it fixed. Please do tell us more about the bug, as in what caused the issue, why you guys ...

Re: Category colours not correct when synced from Windows to Android
We need to be able to reproduce the problem in order to fix it. We couldn't do that so far, unfortunately. Try with a new and empty EPIM database file, will there be the same problem? If yes, forward us a list of steps. Thanks. I've already tried with a new database file, and the issue does not hap...

Category colours not correct when synced from Windows to Android
I have found this to be an issue 100% of the time I have synced from the Windows EssentialPIM to the Android EssentialPIM. Here, you can see my Windows categories colours: Windows.png Here is the view of the same data when synced to Android: Android.png As you can see, not all colours match when the...

Better "Appointment Repeat" options
Currently, in EssentialPIM, the Appointment Repeat options are very basic and useless really, when you compare it with other more modern programs. For example, take a look at these two EPIM screenshots: epim1.png epim2.png Now take a look at the MUCH better options available to the user, such as sec...
