[Bug] Unexpected change of default calendar view
Hi there, I'm not sure if this behaviour changed during some recent update, but I'm pretty sure I would have noticed it earlier if it wasn't the case: I have placed the "Calendar" icon on my Android home screen because it is the EPIM module I mostly use on my smartphone. When I click on it...

Re: Some serious privacy concerns
I'm a Pro user of the PC version, my Android version is the free version. (Can I upgrade to the Pro version without a Google account?) If the option to opt-out of Google snooping does only work for the Pro version, you should grey-out or remove this checkbox in the free version. On my phone (Android...

Re: Some serious privacy concerns
Yes, it is. (I hope that there is no code in the app which resets this option to its privacy-unfriendly default value...)

Re: Some serious privacy concerns
Just updated EPIM for Android from v5.7.5078 to v5.7.5079 and immediately afterwards it wanted to connect to Google's IP 216.58.207.163...

Re: Some serious privacy concerns
Okay, found it, disabled it, and will watch it. Perhaps you should consider pointing out towards this more prominently - at least it's not mentioned in the release notes (https://www.essentialpim.com/blog-and-news/news/essentialpim-for-android-5-7-released). Even better, make this as the default val...

Re: Some serious privacy concerns
Any news on this? The firewall on my Android device still shows blocked connections to some IPs outside of my private network (EPIM for Android 5.6.2)!

Re: Is EPIM Today in v8.13 broken?
So it's not my database which is corrupt. You should seriously consider retracting this version - if I click on "Check for Updates" I (and probably every other user) still get the notice about the broken v8.13.

Re: Is EPIM Today in v8.13 broken?
Found a version 8.12 Pro on the Net, reverted to it and the above mentioned issue is gone! v8.13 Pro has definitely a problem, at least on my PC (which is nothing special: Windows 8.1 Pro 64 Bit, 16 GB RAM, 5-year-old Intel i5 CPU, ...)
Any ideas?

Is EPIM Today in v8.13 broken?
Hi there, I just updated from EPIM Pro v8.12.1 to v8.13 and wish I hadn't done it! My tasks are organized in 10 tabs and while the task view itself is still okay, the tasks column on the right side of the "Today" view shows the tasks of all 10 tabs in each tab, making this (for me essentia...

"Insert as text" sometimes doesn't work
Hi there, if I try to use copy & paste from a different program (e. g. Firefox) into an EPIM note, "Insert as text" (via the context menu item or the hotkey Ctrl+G) sometimes doesn't work. Nothing happens in these cases. The normal Insert function (Ctrl+V) always works. Has anyone else...

Re: Wrong date shown in one of the Android widgets
There is no such icon on my phone in Settings - App, just a list of the installed apps. (bq doesn't change much in Android by themselves, compared to other manufacturers.) If I click on "EssentialPIM", I can force the app to close, deinstall it, delete data or cache and start its main acti...

Re: Wrong date shown in one of the Android widgets
Where can I enable/disable the permissions in Android 5.1? The problem still existed some days later: Today (November 5th) the date shown in the first row of the widget was still "November 3rd" and the appointments started with November 1st. When I clicked the "Today" button the ...
