Re: EssentialPIM 7.6 Release Candidate 1 is available!
Regarding the sorting order in android:
In my epim for windows I have a root topic called today. Underneath it I have the following leaves in this order (where + denotes a leaf with subnotes):
+Craigslist
Wash Living Room Rug
+Cellar
+Trailer
This is note 1
This is note 2
This is note 3
blank
+As Time allows
When I bring them over to android with Manual Sort I get (top to bottom):
This is note 3, this is note 2, This is note 1, Trailer, Wash Living Room Rug, Craigslist, As Time Allows, Cellar
When I sort by Modified:
As time Allows, Cellar, Craigslist, Wash Living Room Rug, Trailer, This is note 1, This is note 2, This is note 3 (Yet the last 3 entries are the most recent made just before I syncd)

Thanks, will think about preserving the notes order upon sync in the new versions. As for now, please re-sort your notes in Android EPIM using the "Manually" sorting option.

Re: EssentialPIM 7.6 Release Candidate 1 is available!
Several minor issues/questions:
- In 7.6 how do I remove the task pane from the calendar view? In 7.54 I was able to remove the pane. However, I don't remember what I did. In 7.6, I couldn't find an option to disable the task pane. Since I rarely use tasks, the pane is taking up valuable real estate on my screen.
- The categories in the categories list are repeated multiple times. I would like to only have each category once. How do I do this? I tried to delete the redundant categories using the Manage Categories Option in the Category menu, but that is very tedious. Is there a quicker way?
- I asked this before, however, I don't remember the answer. Most of the contacts on my phone, and in EPIM, are repeated several times. How can I remove the redundant entries, and then sync the phone's contact list with EPIM?

Hi,
I figured out how to remove the task pane from the calendar view. Slide the border between the calendar pane and the task pane to the right, untill the task pane is hidden. Unfortunately, I did not find how to do that in the documentation. Did I miss it?

There's no other way, unfortunately. However, the existing functionality is quite quick and shouldn't take long. How many duplicate categories do you have? Where did they come from? The categories in the categories list are repeated multiple times. I would like to only have each category once. How do I do this? I tried to delete the redundant categories using the Manage Categories Option in the Category menu, but that is very tedious. Is there a quicker way?
Please use EPIM DupeRemover to remove the duplicate entries in WinEPIM and then sync it with Android EPIM.I asked this before, however, I don't remember the answer. Re: EssentialPIM 7.6 Release Candidate 1 is available!
I have just discovered a subtle but serious bug in the 7.6 release candidate Notes module.
If I paste text from a browser page into a note, the rest of the note is wiped out and replaced by the pasted text. I have tested this both with firefox and chrome with the same result. I noticed this when I copied some order information from my browser into a note where I was tracking a number of orders. All the other order information was erased when I pasted in the new order info.
At the same time, there is no problem when pasting from other sources. I have tried pasting from MS Word, and 2 other word processors with no problem, and from epim note to epim note with no problem. Also have been able to paste from a PDF document with no problem.
I am running windows 10 64 bit.

Todd, please update to the final release of the 7.6 version. There's no such bug anymore in it.

Hi guys.
Please tell me if there is a short guide or navigation on EssentialPIM 7.6? How to use it effectively. Or something like that.
I did not find the topic. Thanks in advance.
