function wrong charset

Post by qwewwqe »

when exporting my contacts, the special characters (ä, ü, ö, ß, ...) are not displayed.
I need the exported data always seperat with
CODE: SELECT ALL

iconv -f ISO-8859-15 -t UTF-8 -o kontakt_utf8.vcf kontakt.vcf
convert.

Can you include in the settings a selection of the export format for UTF-8 or ISO 8859-1?
For the vfc the charset should be present at the beginning of the file, is currently not the case.

Hello,
this is not full fixed.
It works if i export Contacts to csv, html, txt and rtf

If i export Contacts as VCF the special characters (ä, ü, ö, ß, ...) are not correct displayed.

Is it possible to fix this? I have EPIM Pro Portable 8.54.3.

I'm unable to reproduce this, unfortunately. Please create a new database file (for testing purposes), create a new test contact in it, export into VCF and if there's the same problem, attach the exported VCF file along with the test database file to your next post. Thanks!
