There are 2 particularly annoying spam emails which seem to be able to avoid filtering rules, and which come to my gmail account. One sender is
Pierre-Joseph@anarchyfit.com and the other is
tyler@garagewarrior.com
I have set up rules to delete these senders, without applying spam filtering. These rules work when I 'run rule now on <folder>. But the next day, either or both will appear again in the Spam folder. I have repeated this process, after clearing out all the previous identical rules requiring deletion many times, but the problem recurs.
I want to be able to ban these senders from appearing in any of my folders. How?

Re: email rules not being obeyed
The easiest way would be to block them in gmail.
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!

Thanks
That's what I tried to do first. But, despite google, YouTube etc. guidance on how to 'block in gmail', I can't find any way to do that. Hence, my query to EssentialPIM.
If that were the 'easiest way', is there a 'more difficult' way I could try via EssentialPIM?

Message rules are only applied for regular incoming mail folders. If gmail places emails into SPAM that folder is simply synced with EPIM. You can choose not to sync it, though. Or you can choose to empty it automatically after a predefined period of time.
