Versionsänderung nach Updateinstallation

Post by loxxol »

Hallo,

Vielen Dank.

This shouldn't be happening. So one day you have the latest 9.5.2 version of EPIM and then the next day that's the previous one 9.4?

Last week I updated all computers to version 9.5.2 with the installation file EssentialPIMProNet.exe from the website. I checked the version numbers in the menu after installation. I use 8 instances (1x server and 7 workstations). The server was switched on the entire time and all workstations are restarted daily. Today the following versions are on the computers without reinstalling: Server 9.5.2, two workstations also 9.5.2, two stations 9.3, two stations 9.1.1 and one station 9.2. When the workstations start up, an update is requested again. The same game starts over. What else can i do? Thanks for help.

Please update the workstations manually by downloading and installing the regular EssentialPIM Pro version on them, not the Business. one.

Thank you for this information. Is it therefore important that the current business version is always used on the server and the normal EPIM version applies to the workstations?

The Business version is virtually the regular Pro one, although with inclusion of the Firebird server. So normally when there's an update, EPIM as on the server as on the workstations gets automatically updated with the regular Pro version. You only need the Business edition if you'd like to reinstall server software, for instance.
