Current system Epim Pro Portable 6.54 - Win 7.
Trying to sync notes module to Google Drive. One way sync Epim to Google. Synchronize deletions.
Syncs folders from Epim successfully but Deletes other folders I have stored on google drive outside of Epim. Appears to leave single files stored at base level on google drive alone. I need to sync deletions in case I remove a note on Epim.
Thank You

Hello,
this is the way one-way sync works with "synchronize deletions". EPIM deletes everything from Google that is not in EPIM.

Re: Epim Pro Portable 6.54 sync notes to Google Drive
Hi Max,
Quite important to us, I do need some help/clarification:
if I turn off "sync deletions" then I could have kept Google Docs/ folders created directly on Google Drive?
Because now this sync mode: one-way EPIM > Google Drive with "sync deletions" on, deletes literally everything, also single files, which does not exist in EPIM.
Will be grateful for any info on that.
Cheers,
Piotr

Re: Epim Pro Portable 6.54 sync notes to Google Drive
If the synchronization was created a long time ago, I'd recommend you to remove and then re-create it, in this case EPIM will only sync data in its own "EssentialPIM" folder on Google Drive.

Re: Epim Pro Portable 6.54 sync notes to Google Drive
Great, thank you, a question: shall I turn on or off "Sync deletions", if I want to keep the Google Drive content?
Or in that case (the new synchronization mechanism into Essential PIM folder, very logic btw) it does not matter for that purpose?

Re: Epim Pro Portable 6.54 sync notes to Google Drive
If you still want to keep notes you deleted in EPIM stored in Google Drive, then you should definitely disable the "sync deletions" options. If you want to have identical data on both sides, the option should be enabled.
