EPIM Pro 9.10.6 sometimes freezes and disallows Outlook to run

Hi

This is new since 9.10

1-2 times per week, EPIM is frozen after Windows startup each day
Outlook thus does not work or run or start
Perhaps a freeze on MAPI
EPIM cannot be stopped normally after

If I kill EPIM, Outlook works fine

And more often if Outlook is kept closed a long time while EPIM is running and finally becomes frozen...

If there's Outlook sync involved at startup, try disabling it for testing purposes and see if it helps.

No, this changes nothing : the bug resides in EPIM...

We aren't able to reproduce this and there's no way EPIM could be influencing how Outlook works or starts. Seems like a more general error in your system. I'd start with checking the health status of your SSD.

The fact you're not able to reproduce this bug = I understand
You must know that my PC is absolutely clean and that I do regular check of SSD
In fact, none of my numerous programs knows system faults : the PC is excellent at all times and you can watch the features in my signature
Everything is clear and antivirus is up to date and do not go to dangerous Web sites, never
I'm a computer science engineer = you must believe me for that, of course
If I say that EPIM is freezing on MAPI API and that it blocks Outlook = it's just a fact
I've never had this behavior with EPIM before upgrading !

Please check how the 9.10.7 version will work for you. There is a fix included for similar cases when EPIM was freezing at startup.

Impressive and so quick
It's exactly the case : EPIM freezing at startup
The collateral damage is Outlook frozen itself !!!
I will try, but the testing could be long if I need to wait a possible malfunction :wink:

The defect is not fixed when EPIM 9.10.8 is starting with Windows : frozen 1 time out of 5 !
If I kill EPIM, Outlook and my other MAPI tools using Outlook continues to work well...
Around all my MAPI tools, only EPIM has this 000004C2 behavior at Windows startup

Yes, EPIM somehow poorly manages memory.
Freezes once awhile. Also, when left unused. PC promptly goes back (no idle never) but EPIM shows "no response".
It is since 6.x-7.x v.
Before, 5.x was all fine.
I don't use email here, naturally.

We haven't seen or gotten any similar reports for the currently available 11.1.8 version of EPIM.
