Brazilian Portuguese importing issue

Post by marcelo.betel »

I've found a huge issue that maybe sound "offtopic" but you'll see that is not.
When we import data (ToDo list, Events, whatever) accented words (those with accents, you know? Ç, ç, Á, á, É, é, Í, í, Ó, ó, Ú, ú, Ã, ã, Õ, õ, Â, â, Ê, ê, Ô, ô) become a lot of a mess.

Would you, please, do something about it?

The keyboard pattern in Brazil is ABNT2, the letters are in WESTERN (ISO 8859-1) format.
It takes a LOT of time correcting one by one changing wrong characters everytime we update some data in EPIM...

Is the file you're importing from in a UTF-8 format?
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!
