Since updating to ePIM 7.52
ePIM for IOS v 2.8.1
Windows 10 HOME, Ver 1607, OS Build 14393.1480
When attempting to Sync
Get "XML parsing error" on PC
and
"Successfully disconnected" almost immediately on iOS device.
Prior to update it has worked fine for a few years.
Note: I tried to post this a day or so ago, but can't find post.

please send us a log:
please enable extended logging in Tools-> Options-> Synchronization, perform the synchronization and then get log for faulty synchronization using Tools-> Options-> Synchronization-> Browse and send it to epimsupport@... describing the problem and with a link to this forum topic.

I enabled "extended Logging", however when I attempt to sync to iPhone I do not get a log.
I also am syncing with Google and when I do that it does create a log/zip file, so I know the logging action works.
I get the "XML parsing error" when I enable syncing from either the PC or the iPhone.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I see, you left out a step in the instructions:
After
"please send us a log:
please enable extended logging in Tools-> Options-> Synchronization,..."
I had to close ePIM and then re-open it.
Now I get a log file and will send it to you.

I got the XML Parsing error just syncing just my contacts to the iPhone w/Epim 7.52. Had to start syncing my contacts from Google to the iPhone as an alternative which does not allow my groups.

Running Android ver 5.1.2 and Win 7.5.3
After last sync between phone and computer EPIM has created a few empty 1 hour appointments around the places/days of synchronization. These were made out of thin air - I have not created anything on that hours.

Please update to the Android EPIM 5.2 version, to the Win EPIM 7.54 version, remove the empty events and try to sync again. Thanks.
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!

Updated 2nd computer successfully. Had trouble though and had to remove the program from the computer and then make sure the registry was clean and then it final worked on a new install.
Everything seems like it is back to normal again!
