I have EssentialPIM Pro version 7.2

running Windows 10, Outlook 2016. I ahve 1950 outlook contacts and then end up with 0ver 5500 PIM contacts. contacts ahve duplicate names, about 3 to an outlook contact and two are empty, the 3rd has the outlook contact data elements.


have run the duplicate remover many time, it reports no duplicates
have removed Pro , reinstalled it
have deleted all PIM contacts, deleted and then set up the sync again
have delted all PIM data files, created a new one and sync ed again.

The reuslt is the same.

Now to add to the frustration,

I synh to my Android tablet and to an android phone, I get even more duplicates...

Is there a simple application that will synch Outlook caontacts to my android devices. I am suspecting it is like a unicorn, mythical...

any help would be appreciated or I will request a refund.



Support has no solution.

Hi,
I'm running version 7.24 Pro Portable and when I create a new account for my live.com email EPIM doesn't use the default folder 'Deleted' (found in the root) but creates a new one under inbox (Inbox > Deleted Items). In EPIM I can't find an option to select special folders EPIM should use.
Whatever I do, EPIM creates this folder everytime in the same location.

Hello,

next version will be a bit smarter in determining folders to use and might therefore fix this behaviour.

Hello

I´m running the new version 7.5. I have installed yesterday
I have a problem with synchronization to SEND emails:
Access violation at address 007C6098 in module "EssentialPIM.exe". Read of address 000000D4

Please, Can You help me?

Hello,

we have just released 7.51 to resolve the issues with mail. Can you update and confirm the problem is fixed for you?

Not sure if my problem is related, but is what happens 3-4 times per day when I use email a lot: I can still receive emails, but I can not send any, I get the message: "Requested action not taken, mailbox unavailable".
However, when I access the mail server directly I have no problem. Going back to EssentialPIM and I get the same message again.
I have just updated to ver.7.51 but still no mailbox available??

Hello,

this error is given by mail server. Maybe when it's overloaded, it gives the error?

I don't think so, because when I log in to the mail server directly, say gmail, or mail.com or Yahoo I can send and receive mail without problems.
Also, when this error happens, i can not send mail to any of the mail servers.

Please post a screenshot of your SMTP settings.

Hello, the screenshot does not show actual SMTP settings. You need to double-click on SMTP server to open it's settings.

Thank you. Try using smtp.mail.com and changing port to 587

It's getting from bad to worse....... When I change the SMTP settings I get this message:

Unfortunately we can not even test with mail.com, as it seems to be abandoned. To enable IMAP, you have to sign up for Premium service!- and when you try to do that, you get:

Please send us a log:
please enable extended logging in Tools-> Options-> Synchronization, perform the synchronization and then get log for faulty synchronization using Tools-> Options-> Synchronization-> Browse and send it to epimsupport@... describing the problem and with a link to this forum topic.
