Same here. Using Win EPIM Version 6.01 - Lifetime-Licence - on Win8.1 64 bit
I tried just syncing Calendar and still get the same error code.
Guess I'll put everything on my Moto X until it we get a patch or work around. Bummer.

Re: "HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden" at Syncing with Google
I am receiving an error when I try to sync my Google calendar with EssentialPIM Pro. I downloaded the application today, and I am using it in the trial mode.
I have done the following to error check this myself before sending this:
- turned off my anti-virus and firewall
- made sure that I did not have two step authentication enabled in my Gmail account, and it was already set to disabled.
- removed the sync setup for the Google calendar sync in EssentialPIM Pro and closed the application
- closed all open applications and all running applications in the
- reopened the application and setup the sync again
- Ran the Google sync again, and still received the error code
This error is received when I try to sync with my Google calendar: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
The version I am running is 6.01
The settings I have in the sync \ Google settings are:
- login is set with the full email address
- sync the following modules: Calendar & Contacts
- Automatically perform synchronization: no boxes checked
- sync options: 2 way sync
- sync deletions unchecked

My computer specifics are:
- Windows 7 Home Premium
- Service Pack 1
- Sony VAIO
- rating: 4.7
- processor: Intel Core i3-2330M 2.20GHz
- memory: 4 GB
- system type: 64-BIT
- no pen or touch input available

Re: "HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden" at Syncing with Google
It seems the problem is with Google. They disabled support for the previous API which was supposed to be supported until April 2015. This has caught alot developers off guard.

I got that problem too. I was happily using EPIM 5.7 till I decided to give a try to EPIM 6: bad decision, now I just can't take back my Google Calendar syncronization, even going back to 5.7 version. Help!!

Re: "HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden" at Syncing with Google
kaigan is correct, we need to switch to the new API version now. Will do that ASAP, please stay tuned. Meanwhile, please exclude Google Calendar from synchronization (Tools->Options->Synchronization->Google) in order to be able to sync with other Google services.
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!

Re: "HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden" at Syncing with Google
Switching to Google's API v3 is a high priority task for Astonsoft's programmers. The only thing you can do is to check for a new version every day.ticatlon wrote:Hello i am frech and i have the same problem like you of the http 1.1 403 forbidden.
