Contact Merge

Post by Len »

Hi, I regularly have to send to another Epim user an update of a list of Contacts when New Members join our Club, apart from sending a complete list every time is there a way to only send the new Members and have them Added/Merged to his existing Database.

Hello,

I am not sure in which form you send the list, but already now you can sort by "Created" field and select only the new ones for export.
In 7.5, which is in Beta-testing at the moment you will also be able to export items into another EPIM database and another user will be able to import that piece.

Hi, I understand how to separate any Information that I wish to send it`s the adding to the other Data base that I wanted to know.
It looks like it will be solved in a later Up-Date.

You can also export selected items to vCard and import them into another database.

you can also export&import CSV format for that matter. It may include all the fields, though import may take time and few operations.
