Frustration with Templates

Post by jim999 »

I want to have new appointments created via the ADD option in the calendar NOT to be all day events. I have tried numerous times to edit the template that is the default one being used and no matter what I do I always have the appointment being initially configured as ALL DAY. Using EPIM Pro 7.6

Hello,

- please save a new template (without All day)
- please go to "Manage Templates" to make the new template a default one

If that still does not help, please post screenshots of the steps above

I did just that before posting my issue.
Saved as NotAllDay Template
Saved as NotAllDay Template
This is the template with All Day unchecked and set as Default template.

I then click on Add Appointment and the following is the result
All day is checked even though template has it unchecked
All day is checked even though template has it unchecked

Thank you, issue reproduced, will try to fix in 7.61 version. For now, when saving template, uncheck "Save start time and duration"

I was also frustrated with this, but hadn't got around to commenting.
The "uncheck" workaround doesn't resolve the problem.

Ya when I save the template the box is unchecked as I showed in the first screen shot I posted. When I create the appoint I always have to uncheck the All Day Event and then change the time duration.
