Unable to update from 7.6 (and now also from 8.0)

Hi,
I have EssentialPIM 7.6 installed on Windows 10. When I check for updates it shows 7.66 available. I click on download&install, it downloads it, Epim closes, Windows UAC asks authorization, I click on yes but then nothing happens. When I start Epim again is still at 7.6 version. I've tried many times but is still at 7.6 version.

How can I fix it?

Now when I check for updates it shows 8.0 available but I'm still unable to update. It's still at 7.6 version and I've tried three times with no luck. :-(

Thanks. I've installed on the same folder of 7.6 and now it says Version 8.0! Problem fixed. :D

Hi,
I had the same issue again when I tried to update from 8.0 to 8.01
When I check for updates it shows 8.01 available. I click on download&install, it downloads it, Epim closes, Windows UAC asks authorization, I click on yes but then nothing happens. When I start Epim again is still at 8.0 version.

I had to download it manually from here: https://www.essentialpim.com/get-epim and install it manually. Now I have 8.01

Auto update in EssentialPIM is broken. :(

My pc is running windows 10 Pro 64 bit

Hello,

I could not reproduce the issue with failing auto-update of Desktop version. It works fine on my tests.

That's strange. :? Are you using Windows 10 Pro 64 bit? And EssentialPIM Free, italian version.

Or maybe there is a bug in the "Info" section not showing correctly the current version of EssentialPIM?

I tested on Windows 10, 64 bit, with Free Desktop version. Sometimes application won't start, but it is updated. Maybe you have 2 installations and one updates, another- not.

No, I've checked and I have only one installation. And my application always start.
