New version 9.4 freezing and unusable

I updated to version 9.4 from 9.3 an hour ago. Since then I haven't been able to use the program as it freezes solid and has to be killed off via task manager. If left for several minutes, it is still frozen. I did try database maintenance but that made no difference.

Thinking of reverting to 9.3 if it's available.

EPim v9.4 Pro
Windows 10 2004 64 Bit
Intel Core i5 6th Generation
8Gb RAM

And every note I open the insert point has gone to the top instead of being at the end where left. Something is definitely amiss.

Where can I download version 9.3 again please?

I had the 9.3 install file in my downloads. Have reverted to that version and everything is back to normal.

And while I am here, I noticed that when I install a new version of EPIM, it takes over as default email client without asking. Please can that be stopped? At least ask before making such a change.

I am experiencing this same freeze up with EPIM v9.4 today, and like another reported, the only way to close the program is via Task Manager. I am unable to send the error code or even to click on Details, but I have taken a screenshot of the locked up error. It is attached here.

When do you experience freezes? Is there any specific list of actions that lead to freezes or the error message? Would also appreciate if you could record a small video demonstrating the issues.

Insert point in notes will be fixed in the next minor update. There were no changes regarding setting up EPIM as the default mail client in 9.4.

EPIM Pro Portable 9.4
Not sure, that I have the same freeze that others, but here is a database:

Hi there

How do I revert to 9.3 please - I need to use the DB now?

Frizzell9, please run a small test for us, disable the PDF preview feature by clicking on View->Show attached PDFs inline and see if the error is gone.

I also upgraded to 9.4 and now I cannot setup a sync with Google account. When setting up the google sync and selecting the categories to sync, it asks to log into google account using web browser. Once done, it reverts back to Google, but once I have chosen the categories to sync, it then opens up the web browser again and ask me to log into the account, but then does not continue with the setup.

I ran a test after turning off the 'Show Attached PDFs Inline', by simply going down the list of notes and clicking on each one. The results were the same as before. After clicking on four or five successfully, it abruptly decides to stop on whichever was the next note clicked on and give the error, and subsequently error on every note after that once it starts.

There was one peculiar thing I did observe that changed however. My first/topmost note on the list, which had been causing the total lockup of the program when clicked on... now is working again without freezing. That is strange to me, but it could be a useful clue to you, so I mention it here.
