Can't connect to DropBox on second laptop

Hi,
I have two licensed copies of EPIM. I just updated my second laptop to v. 9.8 and want to download a copy of the current DB file. Unlike my first machine (where it works seamlessly) I am unable to make a connection to DB or the EPIM file with machine 2. The Authorisation window just 'sits there' and no connection to DropBox is made. There is obviously something I have yet to do with the second machine to make the connection---what is it?
