Navigation through modules - IDEA - Use of function key template

Hello all,

I have made myself a template that I have dropped over my keyboard function keys.

I like it so much that I decided to share this idea with all.

• Cut openings in a piece of plastic
  Glue a piece of paper with icons that you will have drawn.
  Drop the plastic template over the function keys.

Once done,

• Go to menu Tools\options\shorcuts and associate each module to the desired function key.
  Go to menu View and uncheck Navigation Pane.

Now enjoy your new module navigation template while waiting for real navigation icons to be perhaps added to EPIM one day.

Well done NormTheStorm, the idea is a good one.
Takes up no on-screen space at all.

I too keep the Nav-menu off completely. Too much space is wasted by massive text, padding and an oversized calendars. Plus a click on the small calendars takes us to the calendar module anyway. There's not enough benefit to the Nav Pane, to justify the amount of space it uses up.

I note your icons are colourful!

Simply from the menu at the top.

Ok thanks, had that already actually but in larger form with names of modules showing.

Normans Idea at the Top does not work for me.
