Clear time from START & DUE time fields

Post by rgrun1 »

This may be a duplicate but I didn't see the first one whos in the loist

It would be a real time saver to add a graphical "clear" button next to the time fields rather than having to go in and clear it on each entry. It would basically just duplicate the button within the time fields so you can clear it as your create the task

Along the same line, a button for setting the time to "now" would be handy. The idea is similar to when you set the date, you can click on "today" in the bottom of the calendar box. A "now" button would bring the same functionality to setting the time.

I would find this very helpful for the many times when I am resuming completed tasks and need to use the current date and time.

Thanks for the suggestions. Would you also like to see an option allowing to automatically set time to "None" when creating new tasks?

That would work. The button idea might better serve more users (1 for now and 1 for clear the time)
If it was an option as you suggest, I would use it
Thanks!

I think buttons for "now" and "clear time" are enough. As it is, EPIM populates the start and due date/time for new tasks with the current date/time, which is an acceptable, and probably expected, default. "Clear" would accomplish the same thing as "none".

Thanks,
DG
