Please considerr a Linux port

Post by RDSchaefer »

I have a Windows desktop, an Android phone, an Android tablet, and a Linux laptop. I use the latest version of E/P on all of them except, of course, my laptop. Surely I'm not the only one that wants a native Linux port of our favorite PIM?

Hello,

thank you. Indeed, you are not the only one, but, there not enough users to make it commercially profitable to make EPIM port for Linux, unfortunately.

I don´t know- Me to, I am a potentially Linux user, I WOULD use Linux....... If some of my most important programs and its databases (for example EPIM) would run on Linux. But, because I know, this will not happen, I do not considering Linux. So, if there would exist a Linux version of EPIM, well......

Windows is like Android developing in a wrong direction, in near future you will not be the owner of your own data, so Linux would be an alternative. WOULD, if........
