"run program" with parameters

Hello.

Any chance the "run program" feature of reminders could be enhanced to allow the use of parameters? Currently, if parameters are used, the reminder silently fails (does nothing).

I can see lots of potential uses:
C:\MyPerlScripts\SendEmail.pl "to:max@essentialpim.com" "subject:happy birthday max" "body:yo!"
C:\MyPerlScripts\SendSMS.pl "555.555.5555" ${AppointmentTitle}
C:\MyPerlScripts\Print.pl "C:\MyDocs\LatestAgenda.doc"

thank you for the suggestion. It is clear. We would implement it, however, I suspect too small audience for the feature. We risk implementing a feature that won't be widely used.

You may not be seeing the forest for the trees. When you give users freedom, amazing things can happen. Please reconsider, especially since implementation seems very (relatively) easy. Maybe take a poll?
