Planning Board

Post by jakes8 »

Hi
Is there any possibility you would add a new module for a Planning Board?

This would show a whole year in one view and allow days to be shaded out with preset categories, such as Holidays, courses etc. and allow you to plan a year-at-a-glance?

There used to be one in Lotus Organizer years ago

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

thank you for the suggestion.
Can you please help us understand how would it be different from current year view? In other words, why current year view does not give sufficient information?

Hi Max
The idea is to allow for a separate planning board to map out dates for an idea, or holiday, for example, and be separate from the year view which are dates for events already in the calendar.

The idea is you pick a coloured category and drag over the dates to instantly shade them with that colour and category.

Several other PIMs have implemented the idea and it would be great to see it as a new feature to EPim

I like this idea!
But I would extend this to a multi year view. The idea is, to have a overview over one´s live- in the past. Like a diary.
This could be a part of the calendar, just an additional view.
Off course in a multi-year view, there should be the possibillity to show only months, without showing single days. You could use this as a planning board (future), or diary (past).
This would be great!
