Could you elaborate, what it should update?

At this moment, a window tells me that there is a newer version.
So, I have to click the link, download and install it/download, unpack and copy it (portable V.).
Would be nice, if there wold be an option like "There is a newer version like the one you're using -
and a button -do you want to install it?
Best regards

Andreas

Hello,

if you try Desktop- it works the way you described. For Portable the things are a bit more complicated, as there is no automatic installer for Portable version by definition.

be aware, that not everyone has lifetime subscription.
So some may be "tricked" into updateting in a version they haven't payed for.

englisch:

So it might be possible to programm a hint

b) An update is avaible. Sadly your licence has been expired. Please renew your licence to get this and following Updates *klick*

Yes, automatic check whether user is entitled for the new version is already implemented in Desktop version as well. User has an option to skip update or pay.
